CEA Booth at the Handog Panagbenga sa Pamilya 2025

The College of Engineering and Architecture hosted an art booth at the Handog ng Panagbenga sa Pamilya Baguio event last February 9, 2025 at the Melvin Jones Grounds, offering a lively mix of creative works and interactive activities for all ages. The booth showcased a variety of artworks, including paintings in oil, acrylic, ink, and pastels, alongside prints created through techniques like linocut and monoprinting. Visitors had the chance to engage directly with the art through hands-on activities, such as henna tattooing and quick portrait sketching. One of the booth’s highlights was the monoprinting setup, where attendees could create their own prints using plates made by fine arts students. These sketches and prints became one-of-a-kind souvenirs to take home. In line with the UN’s SDG 4 on Quality Education, the booth aimed to introduce visitors to different art forms while allowing them to create their own pieces. Recognizing that not everyone has access to formal art education, the booth provided an opportunity for hands-on learning, making artistic processes accessible and enjoyable for all.
