Baguio City, February 15, 2025 – The Civil Engineering (CE) Research Colloquium 2025 successfully concluded this year’s CE Fest, showcasing groundbreaking research and engineering solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the University of the Cordilleras (UC) Auditorium.
A total of eight research groups presented their studies, focusing on innovative designs and strategies that contribute to sustainable infrastructure, disaster resilience, and environmental conservation. Their work underscored the role of civil engineers in addressing global challenges such as climate action (SDG 13), sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), and clean water and sanitation (SDG 6).
With the culmination of the Research Colloquium, CE Fest 2025 officially came to a close, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge, collaboration, and a commitment to sustainable development in engineering.
The success of the event was made possible through the unwavering support of the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) faculty and staff. Special recognition was given to Dean Engr. Dexter Apnoyan for his leadership in fostering civil engineering education.
